Celeste Ortiz

Celeste Ortiz, Chief People Officer at Crossover Health, has dedicated her career to enabling successful business growth through a strong people agenda. During a 20-year career as a human resources executive for Fortune 50 health care companies, Ms. Ortiz has specialized in scaling talent and capabilities, developing strong cultures, growing leaders, and winning by building diverse and inclusive teams.

Prior to joining Crossover Health, Ms. Ortiz served as Group Vice President of Human Resources for Medtronic where she helped rapidly scale the Diabetes Group globally to more than $2 billion in revenue. Before joining Medtronic, Ms. Ortiz served as Worldwide Human Resources Director at Johnson & Johnson, and as the Human Resources Director for Pfizer’s Pharmaceutical Group.

Ms. Ortiz has served as an independent Director with SCAN’s Group Health Plan since 2019. She also serves as an Independent Board member of Ideal Image. Her background includes serving as a Board Member for Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center. Ms. Ortiz graduated from USC’s Marshall School of Business and has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Geneva College.
