Rosemary Ellis
Rosemary Ellis is a management consultant who helps organizations bridge management gaps and guides processes such as strategic planning, change management, core operations evaluations, key personnel hiring, brand building, and partnership building. She has worked with both nonprofit and private sector organizations, and has advised multiple start-up companies.
Ms. Ellis has led several nonprofits as Interim CEO, including EngenderHealth, a global women’s health NGO. Previously, she was CMO at Human Condition, an early-stage technology B-corporation focused on keeping workers safe in jobs with physical risk. From 2006-2013, she was Editor-In-Chief of Good Housekeeping, where she oversaw both traditional and emerging media as well as The Good Housekeeping Research Institute, The Good Housekeeping Seal Program, and all business extensions. From 2003-06, she was SVP and Editorial Director of the health-focused media brand Prevention, and she previously held senior positions at Time Inc. Digital, Self, Travel & Leisure, and Working Woman.
In addition to The SCAN Foundation, Ms. Ellis currently serves on the boards of SCAN Health Plan and EngenderHealth. She is an honorary Board Member for the Center for Work/Life Law, Executive Council Member for Plymouth Church, and advisor for Shimmy Technologies Group.
