Xenia Viragh is the Program Manager of Innovation for The SCAN Foundation. She will be focused on expanding the Foundation’s Innovation and Investments portfolio – managing partnerships and supporting project management for our financial security and data/technology equity objectives.
Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked as an Associate at Goldman Sachs on the Defined Contribution Team and helped launch Goldman’s first 401(k) product for small businesses. During the pandemic, she returned to Los Angeles to care for her 95-year old grandmother who had developed dementia. She helped her transition to hospice, an experience that shaped her deep interest in aging and caring for older adults.
Xenia is Austrian-American, grew up between Bangkok and Los Angeles, and speaks Mandarin and German. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University in East Asian Studies and also studied Film and Photography. In her free time, Xenia enjoys traveling, cooking, jazz music, visiting museums, and bouldering.
